Bubblicious Bursts Sour Cherry

Bubblicious was launched in the United States in 1977, in response to the tremendous sales of Bubble Yum, the first soft, non-face-sticking bubble gum.

Cadbury Adams ran a competition asking people to suggest a name for its new bubble gum. The winning suggestion was put forward by brother and sister, Derek and Christine Thorogood from Chelmsford in Essex.  This is how Bubblicious got it's name.
